The Contact Groups feature allows you to email selected groups for marketing purposes. If you regularly send invitations to just some contacts, you can create a group and save yourself some time. Your group could be for a committee or board, interest groups, sponsors or anything.
To be available to be added to a Group, a person must be subscribed to emails. This means that when making a booking, they opted into receiving further information updates. This article covers:
- How to create a group manually
- How to add add people to a group
- How to remove people from a group
- Automated add to group options
Create a group name
- Go to Contacts > Contact Groups.
- In Group Name, enter the name of the group then choose Add.

- Ticket Type (one booker may be auto-added to more than one group if this is offered)
- Course of event name
- Course or event type
- Course or event 'area' value
- Any other existing group
- Any other group you set up in your course or event information.
