How 2FA Is Configured
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is configured by Booking Rooster Support.
Organisations cannot enable or modify 2FA settings directly within the platform.
To activate 2FA or request configuration changes, email support@bookingrooster.co.nz.
Default Behaviour
When 2FA is enabled:
- It is automatically required for users whose role-based permissions include access to other users’ private data.
- It is not required for users without that level of access unless otherwise requested.
This ensures stronger authentication controls are applied to higher-privilege access roles.
Available Configuration Options
Organisations may request changes to the following 2FA settings:
- Whether 2FA is enabled
- The number of characters required in the verification code
- The number of hours between required re-verification events
To request changes, email support@bookingrooster.co.nz.
Requesting 2FA Activation or Changes
To enable 2FA or adjust your current settings:
- Email support@bookingrooster.co.nz.
- Confirm the requested configuration (enable/disable, code length, and re-verification interval).
- Booking Rooster Support will apply the changes and confirm once complete.
